Who we are

Nearly four decades of plastic packaging

P.E.T. (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has produced PET and rigid-plastic packaging in Bangkok since 1987, growing into a large-scale manufacturer serving brands across many categories.

Our story

Built on consistency, since 1987

Founded on 2 November 1987 as a joint venture between leading Thai and Taiwanese companies — Srithai Superware (PLC), Kongsakdi Plastic, Vandapac and Far Eastern Textile (Taiwan) — we have grown over nearly four decades into a large-scale PET manufacturer (registered capital THB 276 million, fully paid), combining in-house mould making, preform injection and stretch-blow moulding under one roof.

Manufacturing scale

7 blow, 12 injection & 12 single-stage machines — about 350 tons/month, ~144 million bottles per year.

Our journey

Nearly four decades of growth — from the first preform to a large-scale manufacturer.

1987

Founded as a Thai–Taiwanese joint venture. First preform & bottle produced on the first injection and blow-moulding machines (Cincinnati, USA; Belliss & Morcom air system).

1988

Began supplying Coca-Cola and Pepsi with carbonated soft-drink (CSD) bottles.

1988–1996

Capacity expanded to 5 injection, 4 double-stage blow and 12 Aoki single-stage machines — adding Singha drinking water and Morakot edible oil.

1996

Entered water and edible-oil packaging — Singha, Morakot, Grape, Waew, Oleen and agri-chemicals (Zeneca).

2000–today

In-house injection & blow mould making; expanded into sauces & seasoning (Golden Mountain, YWY, Nguan Chiang, Maggi, Exoticfood), syrup (Mitr Phol), household (IP Manufacturing) and personal care (Greater Pharma).

Two moulding technologies

Two ways to make your bottle

We run both processes in-house — so we match the right method to each product.

Two-step · stretch blow moulding

Preforms are injection-moulded first, then reheated and stretch-blown into bottles. Best for high volumes and lightweight bottles across many sizes — drinking water, CSD, edible oil and more.

7 blow + 12 injection machines

Single-stage · injection blow moulding

Injection and blow happen in one continuous machine (Aoki). Best for high-clarity, precise small and specialty bottles with excellent neck and base finish — pharma, cosmetics, syrups and premium shapes.

R-PET with PTT GC

In partnership with PTT GC — a leading producer of recycled PET resin — we have developed pilot moulds for R-PET bottles in both 30% and 100% recycled content. This gives customers real samples to evaluate, and produces test pieces for laboratory analysis and approval under Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health regulations.

In our QC lab

How we test every bottle

Calibrated equipment, used on every production run — not just on samples.

Polarised light inspection

We check resin flow and internal stress in every preform under polarised light — catching moulding defects before a bottle is ever blown.

Height gauge

Digital height gauges (Mitutoyo) verify bottle height against the drawing, so every batch fills and caps consistently.

Top-load test

A universal testing machine measures how much vertical load a bottle takes — the strength that keeps it safe when stacked and palletised.

Vacuum test

Bottles are held under vacuum to confirm they resist deformation — critical for hot-fill and vacuum-forming products.

Volume by weight

Filled bottles are weighed on precision scales to confirm true internal volume, not just nominal size.
